Privacy policy
Upshift Revenue LLC ("Upshift Revenue," "I," "me") runs upshiftrevenue.com. This policy explains what information the site collects, how I use it and the choices you have. I've kept it short because the site collects very little.
What I collect
Information you send me. When you use the contact form, I receive your name and email address, plus anything you choose to tell me about your revenue goal, what's working and anything else. Please don't include sensitive personal information in the form.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the site's hosting and security provider receives basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view and the time of your visit. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and block spam.
Analytics. I use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits, pages and where visitors came from. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't build a profile of you.
Company identification. I use Apollo.io's website visitor tool, which may use your IP address to identify the company you're visiting from. I use that company-level information to understand which organizations are interested in my work.
How I use it
I use the information you send through the form to:
- reply to your message and continue the conversation you started
- keep a record of our correspondence and any work we discuss
- follow up about Upshift Revenue's services, if you asked about them
I use technical information to run the site, protect it from spam and abuse, and fix problems.
I don't sell your personal information, I don't share it for advertising, and I don't use it to build profiles about you.
Where it goes
Your information is handled by a small number of service providers that help me run the business. Each one processes it on my behalf:
- Website hosting, security and spam protection: Cloudflare, which serves the site and checks that form submissions come from a person
- Customer relationship management: Apollo.io, where form submissions are recorded and where I keep contact records and notes about our conversations
- Email: Google Workspace, where I correspond with you
I may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the rights or safety of Upshift Revenue or others, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business.
How long I keep it
I keep form submissions and related correspondence for as long as they're useful for our relationship or any work together, and for as long as I need them for legal, tax or accounting reasons. If you ask me to delete your information, I'll do so unless I'm required to keep it.
Cookies
The site doesn't use advertising cookies. The spam protection on the contact form may set a cookie or read browser information it needs to work, and Apollo.io's visitor tool may store an identifier in your browser to recognize repeat visits.
Your choices and rights
You can ask me to:
- tell you what personal information I hold about you
- correct it
- delete it
- stop contacting you
To make a request, use the contact form. I'll respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law; I'll honor those as they apply.
If you'd rather not receive follow-up emails from me, just reply and say so.
Security
I use reputable service providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No website or email system is completely secure, so I can't guarantee absolute security.
Children
This site is for businesses. It isn't directed at children under 16, and I don't knowingly collect their information.
Visitors outside the United States
Upshift Revenue is based in Colorado, and your information is processed in the United States. If you contact me from another country, your information will be handled under U.S. law.
Changes to this policy
If I change this policy, I'll post the new version here and update the effective date.
